Newsmith Stainless Ltd. is building on its leading reputation for the manufacture and installation of food and bakery production equipment with the announcement of a reciprocal, strategic partnership with LeMatic Inc. The American organisation has played a leading role worldwide in the sector since the late 1970’s and its range of systems – particularly its slicing and packaging equipment – is a close complement to Newsmith’s capabilities.
“We are delighted to have an agreement with LeMatic to see us providing a sales, support and spares service for customers throughout the UK, Europe and the Middle East,” says Ryan Atkins, Export Sales Manager at Newsmith Stainless. “There are clear synergies between our own skills and equipment and those of LeMatic which will strengthen our involvement in the food production sector while, importantly, enabling our customers to meet a wider range of their manufacturing system needs from one highly experienced source.”
The agreement enhances LeMatic’s ongoing sales of Newsmith Stainless equipment into the USA market which has been undertaken for some two years. “The position in the industry that Newsmith has reached is recognised worldwide,” comments Brandon Wood, Sales Director at LeMatic’s Michigan offices, “and the benefits and performance capability that this success is built on is directly applicable to our own market.” He believes the advantages of the ‘industrial alliance’ now being announced will be enjoyed across each company’s marketplace – from artisan producers to industrial food manufacturing facilities.
